Copy a Scenario

A Designer who has access to dspConduct™ has the ability to copy a scenario for the purpose of creating and editing a new scenario.

When a scenario is copied, the following assigned data elements are copied:

  • Roles and their Tasks and their child assignments
  • Dependencies
  • Processes and their child assignments
  • Default Rules

A scenario can be copied whether it is active or not.

Once the new scenario is created, it can be modified.

To copy a scenario:

  1. SelectdspConduct > Design > Category in the Navigation pane.
  2. Click the Scenarios icon for a category.
  3. Click Vertical View for a scenario.
  4. Click the Copy Options tab.

  5. Click Edit.

  6. Enter a name in the New Scenario Name field.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click the Copy icon; a confirmation message displays.
  9. Click OK.

The new scenario displays on the Scenario page.
