Default Value Rules

Use this page to Add a Scenario Level Default to a Category.

To access this page:

  1. Select dspConduct >Design in the Navigation pane.
  2. Click Vertical View for the category.
  3. Click the Rules and Actions tab.
  4. Click the Default Value Rules icon.

Field

Description

NAME

Displays the name of the rule.

TABLE NAME

Displays the table to which the rule is applied.

COLUMN NAME

Displays the column to which the rule is applied.

CONSTANT

Displays the default value to be applied by the rule.

IS MANDATORY

If enabled, the default value is considered required and cannot be changed when the scenario is executed within a request.

NOTE: This configuration MUST be enforced by the Content Webapp. dspConduct™ does not enforce this setting.

If disabled, the default value is optional and can be changed when the scenario is executed within a request.
