Plan Task Dependency Successor

Use this page to view successor tasks dependent on the selected task. Refer toUse Dependency Typesfor more information.

To access this page:

  1. Select Track > Project from the Navigation pane.
  2. Click Plans for a project.
  3. Click Tasks for a plan.
  4. Click Vertical View for a Task.
  5. Navigate to the Additional Information tab.
  6. Click the Successor Tasks icon.

Field

Description

PREDECESSOR PLAN ID

Displays the name of the plan containing the task that is the predecessor in the dependency relationship (i.e., the name of the plan that contains currently selected task).

IS COMPLETED

If enabled, work on the predecessor task has completed.

PREDECESSOR PLAN TASK ID

Displays the name of the task that is the predecessor in the dependency relationship (i.e., the currently selected task).

DEPENDENCY TYPE ID

Displays the Dependency Type of the dependency relationship.

Values are:

  • Start to Finish
  • Start to Start
  • Finish to Start
  • Finish to Finish

SUCCESSOR PLAN ID

Displays the name of the plan containing the task that is the successor in the dependency relationship.

SLACK

Displays a number used with the SLACK UOM to determine the amount of time that has to pass before a successor task can start or finish after its predecessor starts or finishes.

SUCCESSOR PLAN TASK ID

Displays the name of the task that is the successor in the dependency relationship.

SLACK UOM

Displays an option used with SLACK to determine the amount of time that has to pass before a successor task can start or finish after its predecessor starts or finishes. Values are Day(s), Hour(s), Minute(s), Month(s), and Week(s).
