Task Variant

Use this page to Add a Variant to a Task.

To access this page:

  1. Select dspConduct >Design in the Navigation panes.
  2. Click the Tasks icon for a category.
  3. Click the Variants icon for a task.

Field

Description

NAME

Displays the variant name.

NOTE: To assist with consistent naming of variants across tasks, when entering a variant name, similarly named variants entered previously are displayed for selection.

COLUMN

Displays the column in which the variant logic looks for the value of the variant.

NOTE: Only one column can be assigned as a task variant. Once a COLUMN value is chosen and the task variant record is saved, the next task variant record added is added for that column by default.

OPERATOR

Displays the logical operator for the variant condition. Default is “=”.

CONSTANT

Displays the value for which the variant logic looks.
