Template (Role Event)

Use this page to Add a Rule to a Template Role Event.

To access this page:

  1. Click dspCompose > Team on Navigation pane.
  2. Click Templates for a team.
  3. Click Roles for a template.
  4. Click Events for the role.

Field

Description

EVENT

Displays name of event run at the template-role level. Values are:

  • Reject – Event runs when the Review role for a request using the selected template is rejected, i.e., the Reject button is clicked on the Request (Roles) page. Option is only available for the Review role.
  • DataEntry – Event runs when the Data Entry button is clicked on the Request (Roles) page. Option is available for all role types.
  • Validate – Event runs when the Data or the Review role for a request using the selected template is validated, i.e., the Validate button is clicked on the Request (Roles) page. Option is only available for the Data Entry and the Review role.
  • Finish – Event runs when the Data or the Post role for a request using the selected template is finished or when the Review role is approved, i.e., the Finish button or the Approve button is clicked on the Request (Roles) page. Option is not available for the External Data role, which is finished when the spreadsheet submitted by the role passes all validations.
  • Reset – Event runs when the Data or the Review role for a request using the selected template is reset, i.e., the Reset button is clicked on the Request (Roles) page. available for the Data Entry and the Review role types.

Rules

Click to open the Template (Role Event Rule) page to add, edit and delete rules registered to the template-role that run when the applicable event occurs.
