User Settings V

Use this page to set User Workflow Receipt Preferences in dspConduct™

To access this page, in the Navigation pane, select dspConduct > Security or, if the Security menu is expanded, click User Settings.

NOTE: The name this page displays is based on the current user's security settings. If the user is an Administrator, the page is called User Settings. When a non-Administrator access the page, it is called My User Settings. The functionality on the page is the same.

Field

Description

No Workflow

Click to set the selected user(s) to receive no notifications when requests to which that user has access move through workflow. 

Messages Only

Click to set the selected users to receive notifications via a message in the DSP®.

NOTE: dspConduct™ sends workflow messages to users who have access to a request when a request is created, canceled, deleted, finished, rejected or reset.

Email Only

Click to set the selected users to receive notifications via email.

NOTE: dspConduct™ sends emails to users who have access to a request when a request is created, canceled, deleted, finished, rejected or reset.

Messages and Email

Click to set the selected users to receive notifications via a message and email.

USER ID

Displays the name of the user who will receive the workflow message.

NOTE: A user can only set preferences for that user’s account. An Administrator can set preference for all dspConduct™ users.

WORKFLOW SEND MESSAGE

If enabled, the selected user receives notification via a message in the DSP®.

WORKFLOW SEND EMAIL

If enabled, the selected user receives notification via email.

Positions

Click to open the User Position page to assign positions to the selected user.

Use this page to assign a backup user.

Field

Description

User ID

Displays the user id of the primary user.

Backup User Settings

Backup User ID

Displays the user ID of the backup user.

Backup User Start Date

Displays the start date at which the backup user has the security rights of the primary user.

Backup User End Date

Displays the end date at which the backup user loses the security rights of the primary user.
