View Import Data Sources

Use this page to Add a Data Source that Stores Views for Import.

To access this page:

  1. Select dspCompose > Team in the Navigation pane.
  2. Click Templates for a team.
  3. Click Roles for a template.
  4. Click Vertical View for the Data role.
  5. Click the Import Settings tab.
  6. Click the View Import Allowed check box to enable it.
  7. Click the View Import Data Sources icon.

Field

Description

Add

Click to add the selected data source to the template’s Data role. Views from this data source can be imported into the data entry role for a request based on this template.

The data source displays in the Data Source ID list box on the Request (Roles) page’s Vertical View.

Remove

Click to remove the selected data source from the template’s Data role. Views from this data source cannot be imported into the data entry role for a request based on this template.

The data source does not display in the Data Source ID list box on the Request (Roles) page’s Vertical View.

DATA SOURCE ID

Displays the name of the data source that stores the views.

This data source displays on the Request (Roles) page’s Vertical View for the Data role.

ALLOWED

If enabled, the views in the data source can be imported into a request based on this template.
